New CMO Dr. Pamela Peeke Joins Bone Health Technologies, Accompanied by Board Additions

Dr. Pamela Peeke, a clinical scientist and expert in women’s health, menopause, and longevity, has been appointed as the new Chief Medical Officer and board member of Bone Health Technologies (BHT). The company also announced the addition of Dr. Kian Beyzavi and Marcie Hamilton as new board directors, reflecting its commitment to advancing the treatment of osteoporosis and osteopenia.

As an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, Dr. Peeke has established herself as an authority in her field. BHT CEO Laura Yecies expressed enthusiasm for Dr. Peeke’s involvement, emphasizing her role in achieving the company’s vision of a safe, non-pharmacological, clinically-proven solution for individuals with low bone density.

Marcie Hamilton, a new board director, has a background in medical devices and consumer products. After earning her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Hamilton made significant contributions to VivaRay Inc., leading to its acquisition by Varian Medical Systems. More recently, she co-founded Potrero Medical, which developed a predictive technology platform for early detection of critical illnesses.

Dr. Kian Beyzavi is also joining BHT’s board of directors. Holding a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics from Princeton University, Dr. Beyzavi focuses on leveraging dynamic data, AI, and machine learning to drive advances in patient care. With her involvement in 60 companies, Dr. Beyzavi has played a crucial role in the development of various MedTech, Digital Health, and Biopharma products.

The addition of these experienced professionals will enhance BHT’s product development, research, and commercial growth, solidifying its position as a leader in treating osteoporosis and osteopenia.
